The Correlation Between Motivation And Learning Style With Elementary School Students Learning Outcomes On Science Subjects In Palu

This research was conducted to determine the correlation between motivation and learning style with elementary school students learning outcomes on science subjects in palu. This type of research is a correlational study, by looking at the correlation between two independent variables on the dependent variable. The sample in this study were all population totaling 267 students, they are students in grades V and VI SD Alkhairaat 1 Palu, SD Inpres Bumi Sagu and SD Inpres Boyaoge. The sampling technique used was total sampling or saturated samples. The results of the calculation of the frequency of learning motivation, there were 19.85% who obtained a value of 81-127 in the medium category and 80.15% for the high category, who obtained a value of 128-175, while the low criteria were 0%. The results of the descriptive analysis of student learning styles are known to be 127 or 47, 6% of students who have auditory learning styles, 61 or 22.8% of students have visual learning styles and 79 or 29.6% of students who have kinesthetic learning styles. Based on the results of learning science in frequency, it was obtained that the value of 55-59 was 16 people (5.99%) had low criteria, and those who got a score of 60-69 were 56 people (20.97%) had moderate criteria, and students who got a score of 70 -100 totaling 195 people (73.03%) have high criteria.
